Nigerian author, activist and winner of Business Insider Magazine’s Influencer of the Year 2022, Reno Omokri, has expressed fear that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stand to lose the 2023 Presidential Elections to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Bola Hammed Tinubu unless the PDP choose the right candidate at the primaries.
Omokri made this statement after it became known that about 12 sitting APC Governors signed the Presidential Nomination Form of Alhaji Tinubu, thus, calling on the PDP to be careful of the candidate to present for the Presidential Elections in the coming 2023 General Elections because the PDP will be having its primaries two days before the APC’s presidential primaries.
Omokri expressed his fear in a tweet, saying “12 sitting Governors signed Tinubu’s Presidential nomination form. Quite impressive. Quite impressive indeed. I hope PDP is watching. Note that our Presidential primaries will hold 2 days BEFORE the APC hold theirs. If we pick the wrong candidate, Tinubu will win!”
