Edo state chairman of the Nigeria labour congress Odion Olaye and his trade union congress counterpart this Monday picket the office of the Benin City electricity distribution company BEDC, and the office of the electricity regulatory commission in Benin City. Odion Olaye who led the protesters say the recent increment in price of electricity tariff has aggravated the current hardship in the country and demand for a reversal.
